John Rae, the 12th annual limited-edition Heritage Charity Bear, is named after Dr. John Rae who was a surgeon, fur trader, and explorer for our site Company from 1833-1856.
100% net proceeds from the sale of each Heritage Charity Bear supports the HBC Foundations Strength in Stripes program. Since launching the Heritage Charity Bear collection in 2005, we have raised more than $1.6 million to help improve the lives of Canadians.
