Our famous multistripes are reproduced in 100% natural merino wool in a blanket specially scaled down for little ones. Merino wool is used to soften the hand and feel of the blanket. Warm, soft and durable this blanket is completely machine washable and will stand up to the special use that babies are known for. Finished with a traditional blanket stitch, this blanket is especially well-suited to gift-giving and will become a treasured family heirloom.

ABOUT HBC STRIPES

The multistripes of green, red, yellow and indigo were introduced on the our site Point Blanket at the end of the 18th century. The colours were chosen because they were popular, and easily produced using good colourfast dyes. These four colours are also sometimes known as Queen Anne’s colours, since they first became popular during her reign (1702 – 1714). Today, you’ll find an assortment of clothing, accessories and home items adorned with the HBC stripes.
